PTO Call to Action!

Our PTO is in a tough spot: we simply do not have volunteers to sustain our organization.

 

Over the last few years, we have relied on a handful of parents who have donated their time to ensure that our students and teachers have what they need — from grant requests for special projects, meals for staff, last day of school fun, PBIS prizes, funding students’ families in need, and community events. 

 

Many of our parents are now heading off to high school, and despite repeated requests, we have been unable to fill vital roles. The PTO runs on a $40,000 budget, and we need strong fundraising and leadership to meet the needs in our community. We are in desperate need of a small team of parents who can fundraise and lead. We believe 3-5 dedicated parents would make all the difference. 

 

If we can not fill these roles by August, the PTO will have to cut many of the requests, meals, prizes and community events our families and students currently enjoy. If you have any amount of time to keep us afloat that would be amazing!
